For the first time in the history of the FNF, an exclusively female card took place. It was ladies night at the Broad Street Ballroom as 6 Female Muay Thai Bouts wowed the crowd with an impressive display of skill and intensity. The audience was as charged as at any other in the past and just 4 weeks after the largest event in FNF history, fans eager for more action came in force.
The main event lived up to everyone's expectation as Florina Petcu and Jill Guido slugged it out in a back and forth 5 round bout. When these two fighters met earlier this year in California it was Guido that took the win however Florina's enthusiasm to rematch Guido at home was apparent. Both fighters gave as well as they got but Florina's control was clear and by the time the decision came down it was no surprise to anyone at ringside that she has won the match.
Of the 6 matches, all were exciting and the selection of the best fight of the night was not easy however the one match that stood head and shoulders above the others was the rematch between Pam Giroux & Alana Ramprashad. While Ramprashad won their first meeting, Giroux was just as game to step in the ring.
While history was made with the first all female card on 6/11, everyone in attendance was certain that by the end of the night - while it was the first, it would not be the last time that an all female card graced the FNFNYC Series.
